We are currently looking for a Consultant specializing in Java, Selenium, and API automation to join our dynamic team. As a Consultant, your role will involve designing, implementing, and executing automated test scripts using Java and Selenium. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting functional testing to ensure the reliability and performance of software applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Consulting on projects and engagements, acting as the primary point of contact for clients and offering strategic guidance on testing strategies, automation frameworks, and quality assurance processes. - Architecting, designing, and implementing robust test automation solutions using Java, Selenium, and API testing frameworks to guarantee the reliability, scalability, and performance of software applications. - Developing and maintaining automated test suites for API endpoints. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements, establish best practices, and drive continuous improvement in software quality. - Conducting code reviews, performance optimizations, and troubleshooting to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of test automation scripts and frameworks. - Mentoring and coaching junior consultants and team members, providing technical guidance, sharing knowledge, and fostering a culture of learning and collaboration. - Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in software testing and quality assurance, and applying relevant methodologies and tools to enhance testing processes and practices. Qualifications we seek in you: Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - Experience in software development, quality assurance, and test automation. - Proficiency in Java, Selenium, and API testing. - Familiarity with Agile methodology and Jira. Preferred qualifications: - Experience in the Banking/Capital Markets domain. - Strong communication and leadership skills. - Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., ISTQB, Java certifications) are a plus.
