Job Description
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Tester (Quality Assurance Engineer) to join our team at MOVENETICS DIGITAL PRIVATE LIMITED. As a Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through thorough testing and documentation. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify bugs and enhance the overall user experience. Your key responsibilities will involve reviewing and analyzing system specifications and requirements, developing detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts, and conducting manual and automated testing of web, mobile, or desktop applications. You will be expected to identify, document, and track bugs using tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or others, and perform regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and performance testing. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure quality standards are met and participate in agile ceremonies to contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes. Preferred tools and technologies for this role include JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr for test management, experience in mobile app testing, API testing tools like Postman and REST Assured, and familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS.
