Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to provide IT support for mission-critical Government projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and network issues across Windows-based systems, while ensuring full compliance with government protocols and data security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L1/L2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and networking devices.
  • Troubleshoot Windows OS, Active Directory, BitLocker, Outlook, and MS Office Suite issues.
  • Monitor and manage devices using SCCM, Intune, and other endpoint management tools.
  • Resolve issues using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools, ensuring SLAs are met.
  • Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, and VPN connectivity.
  • Handle support for government-specific applications and portals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and government IT departments for escalations.
  • Maintain logs, documentation, and compliance with government IT security policies.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with tools like SCCM, Intune, ServiceNow, Citrix, AVD.
  • Good understanding of network protocols, VLANs, firewalls, and endpoint security.
  • Prior experience supporting e-Governance or public sector IT projects preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certifications preferred: CCNA, CompTIA A+, Microsoft MTA/MCSA, AWS (basic).
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant technical support experience, preferably in Government/PSU setups.
