Role Description:
SBIFM is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer with strong expertise in Angular to join its growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining highly responsive, modular, and scalable user interfaces for enterprise-grade web applications. This role will support our digital transformation journey, with a focus on performance, accessibility, responsive design, and clean architecture.
Responsibilities
- Understanding of UI frameworks like JS/Angular.
- Strong understanding of web security and relational databases
- Experience in taking the projects from the requirements phase to the delivery phase using the full software development life cycle
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and multitask effectively
- Work with business users, business analysts and team members to understand the business needs when involved in a project
- Ability to influence and implement best practices, solutions and processes
- Knowledge in BFSI preferable
- Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable front-end code using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SASS.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and backend developers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Optimize web applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Ensure responsive design implementation for various screen sizes and devices.
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and work with backend teams to define data structures.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues, conduct code reviews, and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Follow and promote best practices in front-end architecture, code quality, and user experience.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
Technical Skills Required
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular (v10+) and TypeScript.
- Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Familiarity with state management libraries like NgRx is a plus.
- Experience integrating front-end with REST APIs.
- Good understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility (WCAG).
- Knowledge of front-end build tools like Angular CLI, Webpack, npm.
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
Qualifications & Experience
- B. Tech/B.E./MBA / Graduation/Diploma (IT /Electronics)
- 4+ years of Software Development experience (4+) in Enterprise grade [mobility] solutions/applications
- Some level of experience at designing distributed systems that compose of technologies like .net core, node js, service bus and queues.
- Experience in financial services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and cloud-based deployments is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of Software Architecture and Design Principles, Patterns, Methodology, Domain Concepts (Architecture and Design Skills)
Soft Skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Proactive mindset and willingness to contribute to UI/UX improvements.
Capability to build back end systems using .net core/ .net framework/
