Consulting is an apprenticeship-based business, and many of the skills required are honed through hands-on experience. Your Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.). - Develop, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate software build, test, and deployment processes. - Collaborate with product, operations, and security teams to streamline DevOps processes. - Gather and document technical requirements, provide installation guidelines, and support deployment across various environments. - Implement monitoring solutions to track system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability. - Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. - Develop security best practices across software development and deployment pipelines. - Drive cost optimization initiatives and maintain disaster recovery strategies. - Manage and optimize Git repositories to facilitate seamless code collaboration. - Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies. - Participate in agile workflows, sprints, and retrospectives. Qualifications: - 5-7 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer. - Educational qualification: UG/PG (B.E/B. Tech/M. Tech/MCA). - Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible). - Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). - Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD. - Strong knowledge of networking, security principles, and system administration. - Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python. - Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools. Preferred Skills: - Exposure to BDD frameworks like Behave or Cucumber with Python. - Understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure best practices.
