Job Description
- As a DevOps Engineer in our team, you will play a crucial role in deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS. Your responsibilities will include configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps, as well as working with Terraform or CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Additionally, you will implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions, maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes or EKS, and collaborate with development teams to automate build, test, and deployment processes. Ensuring security best practices in cloud environments and troubleshooting infrastructure and deployment-related issues will also be part of your daily tasks. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or have equivalent experience, along with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in AWS DevOps or Cloud Engineering. Your proficiency with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch, as well as CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions, will be essential. You should also have a good understanding of Docker, container orchestration using Kubernetes or EKS, Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation, and strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and scripting using Bash or Python. A basic understanding of networking concepts and version control using Git/GitHub/GitLab will also be required. It would be beneficial if you have exposure to monitoring and logging tools like ELK Stack, Prometheus, or Grafana, knowledge of AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Associate concepts, and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
