Job Role:
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for designing, developing and productionizing of ML-driven solutions to business problems. You will work closely with local and onshore team of data scientists and stakeholders to understand their needs and pain points, and then translate those into actionable data science projects. Your primary focus will be statistical data analyses and helping build high-quality predictive models integrated with our products.
The ideal candidate is an experienced data wrangler with a deep understanding of data science principles and a proven track record of delivering ML-driven solutions. S/he will effectively communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, productionize, and document scalable Data Science solutions
Understand the business problem from stakeholders and convert it to actionable tasks
Driven to create in-depth Exploratory Data Analysis and Feature Engineering; experienced with ML Ops
Adept at standard and latest ML algorithms and Model explainability.
Knowledge about causal inference is a great to-have
Help mentor and guide Data Scientists
Qualifications - Internal
Key Requirements:
Experience : At least 8 years of relevant experience
Education: Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science or mathematics, Statistics or a related field. PhD with lesser experience is welcome.
Required Skills:
Proficient in ML models across supervised and unsupervised learning, along with knowledge of Deep Learning models using TensorFlow / PyTorch
Experienced in Natural Language Processing with focus on Transformer models
Experienced in using Generative AI. At least one project implementation is expected
Knowledge in MLOps is recommended
Extensive coding experience in Python (and R) as well as scripting in SQL
Visualization of outputs, using Tableau/ Power BI/ Streamlit, along with crisp communication
Strong ability to assess the business problem and suggest applicable data science solutions
Great at presenting and explaining model results to any kind of audience
