Sr Business Intelligence Engineer @ Tekfriday Processing

We are seeking a talented and experienced
Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team. As a Business Intelligence
Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining
reporting across various departments within our organization. You will
collaborate with other teams such as Data, Credit, Finance, Operations, Legal,
and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them
into reporting solutions. Your expertise in Tableau will play a critical role
in enhancing our business intelligence capabilities and enabling data-driven
decision-making.

Responsibilities:

Business Intelligence
Development (Tableau or Sigma):

• Design, develop, and implement
  dashboards and reports to meet business requirements.
  
• Create visually appealing and
  interactive visualisations that effectively communicate complex data insights
  to stakeholders.
  
• Optimize workbooks and data
  sources for performance and scalability.
  
• Collaborate with business users
  to gather requirements and translate them into visualisations.
  
• Build custom calculations,
  parameters, filters, and other advanced BI functionalities to address specific
  business needs.
  

  Data Analysis and Reporting:
  

  • Create comprehensive reports
    and executive summaries to communicate key findings to stakeholders.
    
  • Collaborate with business users
    to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for monitoring business
    performance.
    
  • Automate data refreshes and
    report generation processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of insights.
    
  • Document solutions, data
    sources, and workflows to maintain knowledge base and promote reusability.
    
    
    
    Requirements

    • Bachelors degree in Computer
      Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
      
    • 4-6 years of experience as a
      Business Intelligence Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Tableau or
      Sigma development and implementation.
      
    • Experience working with
      finance-related data sets (ex: FinTech, Lending, Financial Services, or related
      industries)
      
    • Proficiency in Tableau or Sigma,
      including advanced calculations, parametrization, and dashboard optimization.
      
    • Strong understanding of data
      modeling concepts and experience working with relational and multidimensional
      databases.
      
    • Advanced SQL skills and
      experience working with complex data sets.
      
    • Intermediate experience with
      Python scripting.
      
    • Strong analytical and
      problem-solving skills, with the ability to transform complex data into
      actionable insights.
      
    • Excellent communication and
      collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both
      technical and non-technical stakeholders.
      
    • Strong attention to detail and
      a commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
      
    • Experience developing dbt
      pipelines is a plus.
