Position: Business Analyst
Job Description:
1. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst with experience, including hands-on exposure to API-driven environments. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, with a strong understanding of API functionalities, data flows, and integration processes. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
2. Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications, particularly for API integrations.
3. Work closely with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure solutions align with business goals.
4. Analyze and map data between systems to support API-based integrations and workflows. Create and maintain user stories, use cases, and process flows.
5. Conduct impact analysis, gap analysis, and feasibility assessments for new or changing API requirements.
6. Support end-to-end testing efforts including defining test cases, verifying data accuracy, and coordinating UAT.
6. Assist in API documentation review and enhancement for internal and external consumption. Identify opportunities to improve business processes and propose system enhancements. Required Qualifications:
7. Experience as a Business Analyst in a technology or product-driven environment. Proven experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON/XML data formats, and API documentation (e.g., Swagger, Postman).
Qualifications: Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred candidate profile
1. Experience working with API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, Mulesoft) is a plus.
2. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
3. Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
4. Basic understanding of system architecture, integrations, and data flow diagrams.
5. Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and business process modeling tools. Preferred
6. Background in domains like fintech, e-commerce, or SaaS platforms is a plus.
7. Experience working SQL and good understanding of relational databases.
