Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

1.Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers of polymer (PP, PE, PVC) based on

quality, cost competitiveness, delivery timelines, and compliance with safety

and regulatory norms.

2.Consolidate demand to enable bulk purchases, optimize freight costs, and

leverage economies of scale.

3.Identify and qualify new suppliers through market research and technical

assessment.

4.Evaluate supplier capabilities, certifications (GMP, ISO), safety practices,

and commercial reliability.

5.Onboard new vendors as per company SOPs, ensuring documentation,

NDA, and compliance checks

6.Build and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with key polymer

manufacturers, aggregators, traders, and logistics providers.

7.Regularly assess vendor performance based on delivery reliability,

responsiveness, quality, and compliance.

8.Negotiate commercial terms, including pricing, credit terms, Incoterms (for

imports), lead times, and delivery schedules.

9.Prepare and manage contracts, ensuring alignment with company

procurement policies and legal standards.

Skills Required

1.Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

Sound understanding of cost structures, margin analysis, and operational

finance.

2.Effective communication and coordination skills for cross-functional

collaboration.
