Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Product QA Engineer who is passionate about quality and precision in software testing. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our web and mobile applications through meticulous testing processes and collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with experience in product-based environments.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: -
- Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure maximum test coverage.
- Perform and oversee testing at various levels, including functional, regression, and performance testing for our different web consoles and mobile platforms.
- Design and automate test scripts using tools such as Autify, Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, and other automation frameworks.
- Execute API testing using Postman, Apollo GraphQL, Swagger, or similar tools, with a strong understanding of HTTP status codes, error codes, and API response analysis.
- Utilize tools like Workbench, phpMyAdmin for effective testing of Databases.
- Apply Agile methodologies in a Scrum environment, collaborating closely with development teams to deliver high-quality product increments.
- Engage in performance testing using Locust, JMeter, or similar tools to assess and ensure the system's scalability and reliability under different load conditions.
- Use Jenkins or similar continuous integration tools to support automated testing processes.
- Report and manage defects throughout the Defect Life Cycle using industry-standard project management tools, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and thoroughly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure testing aligns with product goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 4+ Years of Experience with proficiency in Manual Testing, Performance Testing, Load Testing, Database testing, test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, and JUnit.
- Strong knowledge of API testing using Postman or Apollo GraphQL, with hands-on experience analyzing API responses and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio, and Swagger documentation.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, particularly in a Scrum environment.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like Locust and JMeter.
- Experience with Git for version control and Jenkins for continuous integration.
- A solid understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.

Qualifications:
- Education: B. Tech or B.E. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Proven experience in quality assurance in a product-based company, with a deep understanding of software testing principles.
