Business Analyst-Power BI & Tableau @ Coforge

Job Description-

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead the transformation of reporting capabilities from Tableau to Power BI. This role focuses on understanding business needs, aligning reporting strategies with organizational goals, and ensuring seamless migration of insights and dashboards to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to assess current Tableau reports and identify opportunities for enhancement in Power BI. Conduct workshops and interviews to gather reporting requirements and define success metrics.
• Create business cases and migration roadmaps that align with strategic priorities.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into Power BI dashboards.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure migrated reports meet business expectations.
• Develop training materials and lead sessions to onboard users to Power BI.
• Monitor adoption and gather feedback to continuously improve reporting solutions.

Required Skills & Tools

• Strong understanding of business analysis frameworks and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in report rationalization and migration planning.
• Familiarity with Tableau and Power BI from a user and business perspective.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, JIRA, MS Office).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. 

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in reporting or BI transformation projects.
• Proven experience leading Tableau to Power BI migration initiatives.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
