Job Description
- As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for selecting and using appropriate test techniques in various scenarios, whether manual or automatic. Your role involves automating standard functional processes of products using automation test scripts. It is essential to possess a deep understanding of the customer and the domain to effectively undertake non-functional tests. Your duties will also include creating test and session plans with schedules and estimates, as well as developing, reviewing, and executing test scenarios and test cases. You will be expected to have a strong grasp of software architecture, construction, and operating environments, applying analytical skills and creative thinking in your approach. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will need to coordinate with Development teams, Business Analysts, and Clients to ensure smooth testing processes. Validating that user expectations are met during the testing phase, including conducting User Acceptance Tests (UATs) for approval, is a crucial aspect of your responsibilities. Moreover, your role will involve mobile testing, identifying and testing product bugs, and contributing to ongoing enhancements. You will need to develop integrated end-to-end functional test cases and scenarios while also demonstrating knowledge of databases and the ability to write SQL queries and procedures for testing purposes. Overall, your role as a Test Engineer will require a combination of technical expertise, communication skills, and attention to detail to ensure the quality and reliability of the software products being tested.,
