Job Description
- You have a minimum of 3 years of direct experience in automated software testing, with a strong focus on front-end web applications. You possess a strong understanding of all core web development concepts including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (Vue/Typescript preferably). Your experience includes both manual and automated testing methodologies, demonstrating an ability to bridge the gap between the two. It would be a bonus to have experience in API testing or performance testing, or experience working with CICD pipelines (eg, Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline). Your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are complemented by strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. A meticulous eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software are essential qualities. Additionally, you have a passion for continuous learning and innovation in testing methodologies and technologies. As a Front-End Software Developer in Test (SDT), you will thrive in a fast-paced environment that values collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team setting. Your strong background in testing user-centric enterprise applications or lower-level design systems will make you the automation champion. Crafting robust test suites that ensure the seamless integration and functionality of enterprise software applications will be a key responsibility. You will also mentor other SDTs and developers in testing and quality assurance, enhancing their skills and fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. In this role, you will partner with front-end developers throughout the development lifecycle to design and execute comprehensive automated test plans, with a focus on integration and end-to-end testing. Leveraging your expertise in automation frameworks like Selenium WebDriver or Cypress.io, you will write clear, maintainable, and scalable automated tests. You will continuously identify opportunities to improve test automation coverage and efficiency, collaborate effectively with developers to diagnose and resolve issues, and participate in code reviews to ensure testability early on.
