Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Lead the complete civil design engineering process for hydropower infrastructure including dams, intake structures, tunnels, surge shafts, penstocks, powerhouses, spillways, and tailrace channels.
Define design strategies that address unique geological, seismic, and hydraulic challenges in both Himalayan and peninsular India.
Prepare and review key deliverables including Design Basis Reports (DBR), detailed design documents, design calculations, technical specifications, and engineering drawings.
Lead concept development and technical feasibility evaluations for civil components in new projects and retrofit/rehabilitation of existing ones.
Ensure integration of site investigation data, topography, and hydrology into civil design.

Preferred candidate profile

B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Minimum 10 - 15 years of experience in civil design for hydropower/water infrastructure projects
