Software Engineer/ Senior Software Engineer (Automated Test Equipment)

Key Skills

1. Strong understanding of Test & Measurement hardware (e.g. DMM, oscilloscope, power supply, function generators, etc)
2. Experience with instrument communication protocols (e.g., GPIB, SCPI, USBTMC, VISA, LXI, Serial, TCP/IP)
3. Familiarity with signal processing, control systems, and data acquisition.
4. Hands-on experience in ATE programming using C#/LabVIEW/Python.
5. Software testing, Software design documentation
6. Familiar with SDLC
7. Knowledge of ATE system engineering, panel building and electrical assembly will be an added advantage
8. Strong communication skills: Ability to handle customer communications and represent the companys interests
   

Job Description

1. Provide pre-sales technical support to the ATE sales team, focusing on software development
2. Conduct technical discussions with customers to propose automated test solutions
3. Write techno-commercial proposals for ATE systems and test benches
4. ATE Software Development (C#/LabVIEW/Python) including integration with hardware instruments, SW/HW testing & troubleshooting, documentation and reporting
5. Travel as required by the job
