Job Description
- As an intern at this company, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in both Web Development (React JS) and DevOps Engineering. You should have a strong interest in building modern web applications, working with cloud infrastructure, and utilizing CI/CD tools. This unique role allows you to work on real projects under the guidance of experienced professionals in both development and operations. Please note that this is a fully remote and full-time position requiring an 8-hour commitment per day. It is a junior role and unpaid until the completion of the probation period. This company does not outsource work to contractors, so please refrain from applying if you are currently engaged in multiple projects. Your responsibilities will include web development with a focus on front-end tasks such as creating responsive and user-friendly web applications using React JS, HTML5, and CSS3. You will collaborate with back-end developers to integrate RESTful APIs, optimize front-end performance, and ensure the quality of the code through testing and debugging. Additionally, you will be involved in DevOps tasks, such as setting up and managing AWS infrastructure, supporting CI/CD pipeline configuration, automating application builds and deployments, and monitoring system performance and incidents. To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of React JS, Node.js, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs. Familiarity with AWS services, Linux-based systems, CI/CD tools, and Git version control is essential. Basic scripting skills in Bash or Python, knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JS libraries are also required. Problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective collaboration within a team are key attributes for success in this position. While a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred, it is not mandatory. Additional skills that would be beneficial for this role include familiarity with state management libraries like Redux, testing frameworks, build tools, Infrastructure as Code concepts, container technologies, and networking/cloud architecture. The compensation for this internship includes a stipend based on the duration of the internship and a project commission based on the project's Gross Profit. This position is primarily remote, with occasional attendance required at local company events. Interns are expected to work 4 to 8 hours per day, attend internal meetings during fixed EST hours, and complete all necessary timesheets and documentation. There may be instances where extended hours or weekend work is needed to meet project deadlines. Consistent documentation and adherence to schedules are vital for the success of this role.,
