Job Description
- As an experienced DevOps Engineer at HARMAN Connected Services, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a DevOps Maturity Model. Your primary tasks will involve integrating various DevOps tools, developing backend APIs using Python and Azure Serverless, and creating front-end interfaces using Angular and Vue.js. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will play a crucial role in fostering a DevOps culture, ensuring system reliability, and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Design and Implementation: You will be tasked with designing and implementing a DevOps Maturity Model, incorporating multiple DevOps tools to streamline processes. Backend Development: Utilizing your expertise in Python and Azure Serverless technologies such as Azure Functions and Logic Apps, you will build robust backend APIs. Frontend Development: Developing engaging front-end interfaces using Angular and Vue.js to enhance user experience and accessibility. DevOps Toolchain: Your role will involve integrating and managing various DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, and GitHub for efficient workflow management. Database Management: You will oversee the management of databases including Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, or PostgreSQL to ensure data integrity and accessibility. CI/CD Pipelines: Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated testing processes to facilitate continuous integration and delivery. Monitoring and Logging: Implementing monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog to track system performance and identify potential issues. Containerization: Troubleshooting Docker and Kubernetes to resolve any containerization-related challenges. Requirements Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Experience: You should have 3-6 years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering roles. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, Azure Serverless, Angular, Vue.js, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, GitHub, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), automated testing, monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Docker, and Kubernetes is essential. Preferred Skills Cloud Platforms: Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud is a plus. Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban will be beneficial. Version Control Systems: Familiarity with version control systems like Git is advantageous.
