Job Overview:
As an Application Architect / Full Stack Lead Developer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing enterprise-grade applications that align with IQVIAs product strategy. You will have complete ownership of application architecture and ensure its successful implementation across platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience in software/product development with a focus on architecture.
- Strong experience in developing web applications, APIs, and application services.
- Proficiency in Angular.js, Node.js, .NET, PySpark, and MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure for application development and hosting.
- Understanding of batch processes and cloud resource optimization.
- Solid knowledge of databases and data management processes.
- Exposure to enterprise architecture and IT consulting/project management.
- Strong skills in business information modeling and system design.
- Familiarity with security best practices and API design principles.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and document application architecture, including design patterns and frameworks.
- Design scalable, modular microservices-based solutions.
- Create robust, secure, and well-documented APIs for web applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with existing products.
- Present solution options and business cases to senior management.
- Participate in the full software development lifecyclefrom requirements to deployment.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to development teams.
- Monitor application performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Lead and mentor junior architects and developers.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
- Contribute to architectural standards and best practices.
- Participate in cross-functional product development and R&D initiatives.
