Job Description
Job Title: Scrum Master
Location: Gurugram, Udyog Vihar, Sector 18
Mode: Work from Office (5 days per week)
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience Required: 812 years (with 45 years in Testing & Insurance Domain)
About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Scrum Master to lead our Agile teams and ensure the successful delivery of projects within the Insurance domain. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Agile methodologies, testing, and team leadership, with the ability to thrive under pressure and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Scrum Master for multiple Agile teams, ensuring effective execution of Agile practices and principles.
- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Development, and QA teams to ensure alignment on goals and priorities.
- Lead and mentor teams on Agile best practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables by leveraging testing expertise (Manual & Automation, Load Testing, HDLC processes).
- Coordinate with stakeholders to manage project scope, risks, and timelines effectively.
- Provide metrics, progress reports, and insights to leadership to track project success.
- Handle team management responsibilities, fostering collaboration, motivation, and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with insurance domain standards and regulatory requirements.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 812 years of total experience in IT delivery.
- 45 years of strong testing experience (manual, automation, load testing, HDLC processes).
- 45 years of domain experience in Insurance (Life/Health/General Insurance preferred).
- Proven track record as a Scrum Master, successfully driving Agile projects end-to-end.
- Hands-on expertise in Agile methodologies and ceremonies.
- Strong team handling and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Agile certifications such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe.
- Experience with Agile project management tools (JIRA, Rally, Azure DevOps).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with cross-functional teams.
