Job Objective:
Supportthe effective and efficient function of the Fleet Performance Centre and buildup BSMcapability to oversee vessel efficiency and performance byestablishing and implementing operational standards. Support and guide whereneeded, in order toprovide the best possible decision support for optimizing the operation of BSMmanaged vessels to achievethe desired operational excellence in accordance with relevant legislation,industry best practice, quality standards and BSM sustainability goals.
Key Accountabilities:
- Monitorthe data quality of vessel reported logs, ensure it within acceptable limits
- Ensurethe reporting is as per standards devised in software (PAL)
- Monitorthe data validations and identify the cause of reporting issue
- Support data submissions to verifier (DNV), ensure the data is acceptablefor verifier
- Proactivelyengage within FPC members, Fleet teams & Vessel crew for resolution
- Act as representative of FPC, for all reporting issues, liaise with Vesselsupport team, Shore support team and Software Development Team
- Devise methods to improve data quality of reports
RequirementsEducation & Qualifications :
BSc/BS/BEng/BTech in Mechanical/MarineEngineering or similar
Job-Specific Skills:
- Data Analysis withcommonly available tools. Data (Experience in data analysis with programmingtool is an added advantage)
- Knowledge ontechnologies commonly used in Shipping sector
- Basic knowledgeon Data transactions
- Knowledge on RDBMS(Relational Database management systems), who can query data from data base(SQL/Azure)
- Knowledge on SoftwareApplication/ERP systems
- Knowledge on SoftwareTechnical Support
- General troubleshootingskills
- Project &time management as well as organizational skills
- Fluency in English
- Able to cooperatewith colleagues in a multinational and interdisciplinary environment within adistributed organization.
