Datamatics is hiring for Data Engineer Lead, with minimum 3+years of lead experience.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10-12 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Databricks & Delta Live Tables
• PySpark & Python
• SQL
• Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2)
• GitHub & Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Solid understanding of Azure Cloud services related to data engineering.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Delta Live Tables (DLT) and Databricks.
• Develop scalable data solutions using PySpark, Python, and SQL.
• Implement data integration from various sources into Azure Data Lake Storage (Gen2).
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and timely data.
• Manage and version control code using GitHub and integrate pipelines through Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Optimize and monitor performance of data pipelines and workflows in Databricks.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices are followed.
• Work with PostgreSQL databases for data extraction, transformation, and loading operations.
• Participate in cloud solution design and contribute to architectural decisions in Azure.
