Job Title: Medical Coding Trainer

Location: Velachery, Chennai

Experience Required: 5+ years in Medical Coding (Trainer role preferred)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Medical Coding Trainer to join our team at Global Healthcare. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in multiple coding specialties and a passion for training and mentoring coders to ensure quality and compliance.

Specialties Required:

• Anesthesia
• Emergency Department (ED)
• E/M (Evaluation & Management)
• Surgery
• Home Health
• Denial Coding
• Radiology

Key Responsibilities:

• Train, mentor, and guide new and existing coders across the above specialties.
• Develop training modules, assessments, and certification support material.
• Conduct refresher training sessions to improve coding accuracy and productivity.
• Stay updated with the latest ICD, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines and ensure coders compliance.
• Provide performance feedback and improvement strategies for coders.
• Collaborate with quality and operations teams to enhance coding standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on medical coding experience across multiple specialties.
• Proven experience in training medical coders (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Certification such as CPC, CCS, or equivalent (mandatory).
