Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer Endpoint Malware Protection
Location: Pune
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience Required: 9+ Years
Job Summary:
Are you passionate about cybersecurity and endpoint protection? Were looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join our Adversary Protection Engineering team, focusing on the design, integration, and maintenance of modern antimalware solutions across hybrid infrastructures. This role is critical to ensuring secure, stable, and high-performing systems in a global enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, and integrate modern endpoint malware protection controls.
- Analyze system errors and define corrective measures to ensure operational stability.
- Guarantee secure infrastructure environments and maintain production performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver large-scale security programs.
- Maintain and continuously improve existing antimalware capabilities and configurations.
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and standards.
Required Qualifications:
- 9+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, preferably in endpoint protection.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS security hardening and system internals.
- Proven experience deploying and configuring Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) solutions at scale.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and/or C# for scripting and automation.
- Effective communicator with the ability to lead investigations and resolve complex technical issues.
- Fluent in English, with strong collaboration skills in global teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior people management or technical leadership experience.
- Experience with EDR platforms such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and enterprise security architecture.
