Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated ETL Developer with strong skills in Java and SQL-based ETL processes to join our team at Wesco. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data integration, transformation, and deployment processes and should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using Java and SQL.
- Understand complex data models and build efficient transformation logic.
- Optimize existing data pipelines for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Ensure proper data quality and validation during the ETL process.
- Participate in deployment processes including CI/CD and production support.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proficient in Java programming.
- Strong expertise in SQL and ETL development.
- Good understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining ETL workflows.
Good to Have / Secondary Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Knowledge of Azure Databricks and Spark-based data processing.
- Exposure to cloud-based deployment and version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with data lake and modern data platform architectures is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and deliver within deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies as needed.
