Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to help customers in developing and re-engineering applications that fully leverage the AWS Cloud. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse, game-changing projects at the forefront of application development and cloud technology adoption. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in developing technical expertise, collaborating with partners, and delivering implementation projects. You will focus on building and deploying business-critical applications that leverage AWSs scalability, elasticity, automation, and high-availability features.
Key Requirements
5+ years of hands-on exp. with setting up applications and web servers.
Understanding requirements and project KPI.
Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
Planning the team structure, activities, and involvement in management activities.
Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline) using Jenkins, Gitlab and AWS Code Pipeline.
Mentoring and guiding the team members
Require strong experience with NGINX, Apache, Tomcat services & related packages/tools/frameworks like PHP, Python, Laravel, Magento Hosting etc.
Require strong experience in designing, deploying, configuring, and optimizing databases like MySQL/MariaDB, MongoDB and PostgreSQL in on-premises/cloud contexts.
Experience in designing AWS infrastructure
Experience in Cloud Computing Technologies, especially on Amazon Web Services (AWS) stack/offerings like EC2, RDS, Security Groups, ELB, Autoscaling, VPC, Lambda, IAM etc. Experience in GCP and Azure would be a plus.
Familiarity with DevOps technologies using containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes)
Exposure to monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Good knowledge & experience of networking services and configurations.
Experience with CDN services like Cloudflare/CloudFront.
Hand-on experience or knowledge in Ansible and Terraform.
AWS Solution Architect Certification required.
The person should possess documentation, communication, and team collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
Hands-on experience with containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Exposure to monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Prior experience in mentoring and guiding team members.
Background in performance tuning and high-availability solutions.
