Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with a strong background in both Golang and Python. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in manual testing across on-prem and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions in fast-paced environments. Prior experience working on NetBackup or other Cohesity products is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for complex systems and applications.
- Perform manual testing to ensure software quality across various environments including Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure high test coverage and resolve issues promptly.
- Write and maintain automated test scripts using Golang and Python.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using standard tools and processes.
- Contribute to test strategies and process improvements for better coverage and efficiency.
- Provide clear and detailed documentation of test procedures, results, and related technical materials.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Proven hands-on experience in Golang and Python.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficient in manual testing across on-premise and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working on NetBackup or with Cohesity products.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
- Experience in enterprise-scale storage or backup solutions is a plus.
