Job Description
- You will be responsible for performing tests in strict compliance, independently guiding other testers, and assisting test leads. Your role will involve constructing test scenarios and systematic test cases based on customer user stories or requirements, executing test cases, ensuring the performance of new or revised components, and documenting test results and reporting defects. Additionally, you will facilitate changes in processes based on lessons learned, develop proficiency of other testers, and ensure timely completion of all tasks. You are expected to participate in requirements management activities such as seeking clarification, understanding, reviewing, and participating in domain relevance tasks by testing features with a good understanding of the business problem and conducting gap analysis. Reporting test activities of a small team, estimating time, effort, and resource dependence, managing knowledge by consuming and contributing, and performing test design, development, and execution tasks are also key aspects of the role. Your skills should include the ability to review user stories/requirements, design test cases/scripts, apply techniques for efficient test case design, set up test data, execute tests, and identify anomalies. Knowledge of methodologies, tools, types of testing, testing processes, and testing standards will be essential for this position. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have 4-6 years of experience as an Automation Engineer with expertise in Java and Selenium. Strong skills in Test Automation, Java, and Selenium are required for this role.
