Job Description
- As a Manual and Automation Tester, your primary responsibility will be to review and analyze project requirements in order to create detailed and effective test cases. You will be executing test cases, both manual and automated, to ensure the quality of the software. Automation testing is a key aspect of this role, where you will automate test cases using tools like Cypress or Selenium for regression testing and maintain automation scripts. It will also be your duty to identify, report, and track bugs using project management tools such as Zoho, Jira, or similar platforms. You should have a good understanding of different testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and UI testing. Additionally, you will be involved in testing ERP functionalities to ensure system stability and performance. Collaboration is essential in this role, as you will work closely with developers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery. You will also be responsible for maintaining comprehensive test cases and test execution reports. Continuous improvement of testing processes and best practices will be expected from you. The ideal candidate for this position should have 4-5 years of experience in manual and automation testing, with hands-on experience in tools like Cypress or Selenium for test automation. Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured is required, along with knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter. Experience in mobile app testing, familiarity with cloud-based testing environments, and expertise in different testing types are also necessary. The ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is crucial. Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies would be a plus. Good to have skills for this role include knowledge of CI/CD processes, exposure to security testing, familiarity with ERP system testing, and related certifications such as ISTQB.,
