Trainee- Software Data Engineer @ KSB

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Study, acquire and recognize context of all product-related sources, e.g. technical information booklet & other reference documents etc., related to pumps, valves, accessories etc. which are to be newly implemented or need to be updated in the pump selection software.

2. Communicate with appropriate departments viz. Design, Product Management, Variant Management and Sales as well as the software manufacturer to get clarity about details of selection and configuration.

3. Extend KSBs selection software to accommodate additional pump series using data maintenance tool (Import and export of data using .exe .vdma and .cef files), preparation of product configuration related data tables for import.

4. Test the new Configuration and rectify errors, if any.

5. Maintenance of already implemented products in pump selection software.

• Mechanical Concept should be very clear, good undretsnading about pumps,etc.
• Confident handling of MS-Office applications
• Intercultural competency
• Solution oriented thinking
• Self-reliant work as well as reliable and quality-conscious action
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
