Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Integration Architecture & Implementation
- Design, develop, and manage Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and Web Services (SOAP/REST) Teal.
- Manage data formats and transformationsXML, XSLT, JSON, CSVincluding mapping and data validation workflows Teal.
- Ensure secure, scalable integration with enterprise systems via OAuth, vendor APIs, and middleware tools like PECI/PICOF Teal.
RFP/Scout Responsibilities
- Lead the RFP (Request for Proposal) process for sourcing integration vendors or third-party solutions.
- Define technical and business requirements, evaluate proposals, and recommend vendors based on architectural fit and compliance.
- Conduct proofs-of-concept (PoCs) and coordinate vendor onboarding with technical and procurement teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and procurement teams to align integration strategies with business needs.
- Support rollout and upgrades post-integration, enforcing robust security and performance standards Teal.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, ensuring effective resolution and stakeholder alignment Teal.
Documentation & Standards
- Maintain integration architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and vendor evaluation documentation.
- Promote best practices for API governance, data transformation, and integration security.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday integration experience, working extensively with EIB, Connectors, Studio, SOAP/REST Teal.
- Strong skills in XSLT, data transformations, and XML/JSON/CSV data handling Teal.
- Experience designing integration security, including OAuth and API access control Teal.
- Proven track record in managing or participating in RFP/scouting for technical vendors or solutions.
- Excellent communication and vendor/stakeholder management capabilities.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
- Workday Integration or HCM certifications (Studio, Integration, Core HCM).
- Proven experience in conducting PoCs and managing vendor evaluation processes.
- Understanding of broader Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Reporting) and data governance principles.
