Job Title: Tech Engineer Cyber Hygiene Technology
Location: Pune
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience Required: 7+ Years
Job Summary:
Are you passionate about cybersecurity and infrastructure engineering? Were looking for a Tech Engineer to join our Cyber Hygiene Technology team, responsible for building and maintaining infrastructure for Application Security Testing and Penetration Testing tools. This role involves working across cloud and on-prem environments, ensuring performance, uptime, and compliance of critical security tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, build, and maintain infrastructure for AppSec and Penetration Testing tools.
- Ensure performance, uptime, and security across cloud (Azure) and on-premises environments.
- Manage operational workflows including tool updates, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless tool integration and support.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and standards across all UBS systems.
- Analyze application/system issues and define corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and technical communication for all infrastructure components.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in IT Security Engineering, with a focus on integration, automation, and infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience in setting up infrastructure for Application Security and Penetration Testing tools.
- Strong understanding of how AppSec and PenTest tools function and integrate within enterprise environments.
- Deep knowledge of the Azure cloud ecosystem and its native capabilities.
- Experience with DevOps pipelines, automation tools, and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
- Solid grasp of networking, operating systems, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in large, complex organizations.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with tools like Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Fortify, Qualys, or similar.
- Exposure to Terraform, ARM templates, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of security compliance frameworks and risk mitigation strategies.
