Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services using NodeJS with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using frameworks like Express.js or Fastify.
- Integrate and manage AWS services including Lambda, IAM, Cognito, S3, Kinesis, Quick Sight, and DynamoDB.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Optimize application performance and monitor system health.
- Work with version control systems such as Git, GitLab, or GitHub.
- Participate in Agile development processes using tools like Jira.
- Contribute to infrastructure automation using AWS CDK or SST (preferred).
- Manage and interact with database systems including NoSQL (DynamoDB), SQL (Amazon RDS), and time-series databases.
- Engage in IoT-based project development (preferred).
- Utilize modern build tools such as ESBuild or Vite.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in NodeJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of AWS cloud services.
- Experience with RESTful API development.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps workflows.
- Knowledge of both NoSQL and SQL databases.
- Exposure to performance monitoring and optimization techniques.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
