About this opportunity:
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a talented C++ Technical Architect to join the Ericsson team. This will be a pivotal role, contributing to crafting and implementing comprehensive solutions for our esteemed customers in alignment with the SDLC. The successful candidate will be entrusted with intricate application and technical architecture design and coding of software components based on specifications set by our Architects. Furthermore, you will deliver critical support during early and system testing stages to ensure our software components function flawlessly.
What you will do:
- Design, Develop and consume REST APIs efficiently using C++ or Java and Spring boot .
- Implement robust Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Leverage multithreading for concurrent programming tasks to optimize application performance.
- Integrate and work with Kafka Message Bus using the confluent-kafka Python library.
- Write and maintain high-quality unit tests using JUNIT for thorough test coverage.
- Build and containerize applications using Docker ; and deploy them to Kubernetes clusters with Helm .
- Collaborate using version control systems like GitLab and contribute to CI/CD pipelines (knowledge of GitLab CI is a plus).
Preferred Tools:
- IDE : VSCode (Visual Studio Code).
Key Qualifications:
- Education: B.E, BTech or Similar
- Minimum years of relevant Experience: 8 to 15.
The skills you bring:
- Deep knowledge of microservices architecture and REST API design using C++
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools ( Docker , Kubernetes , Helm ).
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle tools and processes, especially in Agile environments.
- Experience in product development
- Familiarity with *nix based operating systems
- Experience with GitLab CI pipelines.
- Experience in working with Apache Kafka or Confluent Kafka for message bus integration.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- Exposure to Python and C++
- Experience with cloud native architecture and development
