Job Title: Engineer II Quality Assurance

About the Role
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer II with strong skills in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have experience in UFT/Playwright automation tools, a solid grounding in manual QA practices, and exposure to generative AI tools like Microsoft Copilot to enhance productivity and testing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end manual testing (functional, regression, integration, system).
- Develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts using UFT and Playwright.
- Utilize AI-based productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot) to improve test design, documentation, and script generation.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure clear requirement understanding and high-quality delivery.
- Design and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data aligned with business needs.
- Report, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA or similar.
- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalent).
- Contribute to process improvements and adoption of next-gen QA practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 25 years of QA experience (manual + automation).
- Strong knowledge of manual testing principles and test case design.
- Hands-on experience in automation frameworks/tools:
- UFT (Unified Functional Testing)
- Playwright
- Familiarity with generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent.
- Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
- Knowledge of CI/CD and version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good to Have
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
