Role: Senior SailPoint Developer
Location: Chennai
Start Date: Immediate
Number of Roles: 2
Compensation: 2025 LPA (depending on experience)
Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior SailPoint Developer with 10+ years of overall IT experience and proven expertise in SailPoint IdentityIQ / IdentityNow. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM), hands-on technical development, workflow design, integration, and governance processes, along with certifications in SailPoint. This role requires strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and mentoring capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, and integrate IGA solutions involving SailPoint IdentityIQ / IdentityNow.
- Lead end-to-end SailPoint implementations including application onboarding, role-based access, and certifications.
- Configure advanced LCM workflows, access request/approval, and automated provisioning & deprovisioning.
- Build and manage direct connectors (Active Directory, LDAP, Mainframe, etc.).
- Define and enforce preventive & detective SoD (Segregation of Duties) rules.
- Manage identity lifecycle flows (Joiner, Mover, Leaver) and governance policies.
- Mentor and train junior team members on SailPoint best practices and technical configurations.
- Partner with IT engineering teams to drive adoption of SailPoint features and integration.
- Develop custom tasks, connectors, workflows, rules, UI pages, and reports in SailPoint.
- Maintain solution optimization with periodic reviews and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with InfoSec, Risk, and Compliance teams to align IAM solutions with security standards.
- Prepare and maintain flowcharts, workflows, and documentation for IAM operations.
- Provide incident/problem management support, resolving system issues, and ensuring business continuity.
- Advocate for security policies and IAM best practices across the organization.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years in SailPoint IdentityIQ / IdentityNow.
- Hands-on experience in SailPoint configuration, customization, and integration.
- Proficient in Java, Beanshell scripting, XML, REST APIs for SailPoint development.
- Experience with role-based access control, lifecycle events (JML), and workflows.
- Strong exposure to IAM, IGA, and access governance processes.
- Expertise in incident/problem/change management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, Jira, Confluence.
Certifications (Mandatory/Preferred)
- SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer / IdentityNow Engineer
- IAM / Security-related certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc. preferred)
