Job Description
- Monitor and enhance query performance, indexing strategies, and data access patterns
- Design and maintain schema changes in the Data Warehouse in support of BI and reporting needs
- Collaborate with BI developers and business stakeholders to ensure data models align with reporting requirements
- Implement and manage data pipelines for transforming and loading data into the warehouse
- Work closely with teams to troubleshoot data discrepancies and performance bottlenecks
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across integrated systems
- Education & Experience Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in SQL development with large datasets in enterprise environments
- 2+ years of experience in managing and maintaining Data Warehouses (on-prem or cloud-based)
- Exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc
- ) is a plus but not required
- Technical SkillsMust Have: Expert-level SQL skills, including stored procedures, CTE, views, indexing, joins, partitioning, and performance tuning
- Experience with database platforms such as MS SQL Server, Azure SQL
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling
- Good To Have:Scheduling jobs in SQL server agentFamiliarity with ETL/ELT tools or frameworks like SSIS, SSAS TabularBasic knowledge of PowerBI
- Experience with scripting or programming languages (eg, C#, PowerShell) is a plu
- Soft Skills Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail when working with complex data models
- Good communication skills to interact with BI/Analytics teams and business stakeholders
- Self-driven and capable of working independently in a remote or hybrid setup
- Agile/Scrum team experience is preferred
