Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Integration Solution Design: Lead the analysis of client and internal business requirements to design scalable and efficient integration solutions for Teamcenter with other enterprise systems (e.g., CAD tools like NX, Creo, CATIA, Solid Edge; ERP like SAP, Oracle; MES; CRM).
- Integration Development: Develop, configure, and customize integrations primarily using Teamcenter Integration Toolkit (ITK), Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) APIs, and other relevant Teamcenter APIs. This includes coding in Java, C++, and/or scripting languages.
- Data Mapping & Transformation: Design and implement complex data mapping, transformation, and validation rules to ensure data consistency and integrity across integrated systems.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution for complex integration issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Technical Leadership & Mentoring: Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior integration developers and cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to coding standards, integration best practices, and architectural guidelines.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze integration performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to improve data transfer efficiency and system responsiveness.
- Documentation & Standards: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for integration designs, specifications, test plans, and deployment procedures. Establish and enforce integration development standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Teamcenter administrators, developers, business analysts, and other application teams to ensure successful end-to-end integration solutions.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Extensive Teamcenter Integration Experience: Deep, hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting integrations for Siemens Teamcenter Unified Architecture (TCUA), including Active Workspace.
- Teamcenter APIs Expertise: Expert-level proficiency with Teamcenter ITK, SOA, and other relevant APIs for custom integration development.
- Programming Languages: Strong development skills in Java and/or C++ for integration coding. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting) is a plus.
- Middleware/EAI Knowledge: Experience with middleware platforms, message queues, or Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) patterns and tools is highly desirable.
- Database Skills: Solid understanding of SQL with experience working with databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) to support integration development and troubleshooting.
- CAD/ERP Integration: Proven experience integrating Teamcenter with at least one major CAD system (e.g., NX, Creo, CATIA, Solid Edge) and/or an ERP system, preferable T$S& T4ST (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Analytical & Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical, debugging, and advanced problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex integration challenges.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
- Desired Skills (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience with Teamcenter Multi-Site Collaboration (MSC) or Global Services.
- Knowledge of Teamcenter MRO, Manufacturing, or other domain-specific modules.
- Familiarity with web services (REST/SOAP), XML, JSON, and related integration technologies.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for integration development.
- Relevant Teamcenter or integration-specific certifications.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
