This position is a frontline, quota-carrying, sales role, selling the entire BMC portfolio of solutions into both SIs and Global outsourcers and the customers that they service worldwide. The Global Account Manager (GAM) will be responsible for setting & driving the vision & strategy for the Account(s) globally, and will be responsible for Sell-To, Sell-With & Sell-Through sales motions within the Account(s) across the regions.
The optimal candidate for this position will possess the following skills and qualities-
Understanding of the BMC portfolio and the vast competitive landscape
Experience selling to and crafting programs for Global Outsourcers
Documented success of presenting to and selling to strategic end user accounts
Understanding and proven success in Champion building
Proven ability to build pipeline within Outsourcers and the end clients that they cover
Deep understanding of software contractual and transactional vehicles and how they work
Ability to leverage a complex selling ecosystem spread across multiple regions
Disciplined sales approach and sales process to move from interest to closure
Poise under pressure, strong leadership skills, uncompromising ethical core, and inspired work ethic
Creativity and thought leadership
Value-based Negotiation skills
