Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced OSS Functional Designer with deep domain knowledge in telecom Plan & Build processes and hands-on expertise in workflow systems.
This role involves designing functional solutions that streamline network planning, provisioning, and rollout activities, while ensuring automation and orchestration through robust workflow frameworks.
- 8+ years of experience in OSS functional design within telecom environments.
- Mandatory expertise in Plan & Build domain (e.g., network rollout, provisioning, inventory planning).
- Strong experience with workflow systems and process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN, Camunda).
- Develop and refine workflow models to automate operational processes using BPMN or equivalent standards.
- Understanding of network technologies (IP, Optical, Wireless) and inventory systems.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teamsincluding business analysts, architects, and developersto convert business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
- Ensure alignment with industry standards and frameworks, including TM Forum (eTOM, SID).
- Define and manage integration points between OSS components and external systems like GIS, NMS, and BSS.
- Lead requirement-gathering sessions and validate functional designs with stakeholders.
