 MIS Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Chartered Accountant with 2-4 years of experience to join our team as an MIS Analyst. The ideal candidate will leverage their financial expertise to manage and improve our Management Information Systems (MIS), providing valuable insights to support strategic financial decision-making. This role requires a blend of accounting knowledge, data analysis skills, and familiarity with MIS tools.


Data Management & Analysis:


  • Extract, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to support business operations and decision-making.

  • Develop, maintain, and automate regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools such as SQL, Power BI, and Tableau.

  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and automated reporting tools using platforms such as Power BI, Excel, and SQL.

  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reporting systems.

  • Oversee the maintenance and optimization of MIS systems, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business.

  • Monitor financial data quality and ensure consistency across all financial reporting systems.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

  • Support the FP&A team with data-driven insights, assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

  • Analyze variances in financial performance and provide recommendations for corrective actions.



Business Process Improvement:


  • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through better use of MIS systems.

  • Propose and implement solutions to streamline workflows, reduce manual tasks, and enhance productivity.

  • Document and map business processes to ensure consistency and compliance.

Technical Skills


  • Proficiency in SQL, data querying, and report generation.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and business process mapping.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
