Job Title: Database Architect (Mongo DB)We are seeking a highly skilled Database Architect with over 10 years of experience in database architecture and design, specifically with expertise in Mongo DB. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and implementing database solutions, as well as a deep understanding of data modeling and optimization. Key responsibilities for this role include:
MongoDB Strategy and Design: Defining MongoDB strategy, designing the architecture (data models, sharding, replication, indexing), evaluating tools and technologies, and providing expert guidance on architecture patterns and optimization.
Implementation & Management: Deploying and managing MongoDB instances, implementing data governance, designing and maintaining secure APIs, optimizing read/write operations, and implementing backup, recovery, and security measures.
Performance & Optimization: Analyzing performance, identifying bottlenecks, implementing solutions, monitoring clusters, and staying updated on best practices.
Mentorship & Collaboration: Acting as a technical advisor, collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring team members, and communicating complex concepts effectively.
Qualifications
Required qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
10+ years of professional experience, including a strong software development background.
Expertise in MongoDB architecture (replica sets, sharded clusters, data distribution, indexing, replication).
Experience designing scalable and highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-prem environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in data modeling, schema design, query optimization
Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Ops Manager, Prometheus, and Grafana.
