Job Description
Job Requirements
Carry out development studies related to Materials, Corrosion to give support to Projects and affiliate (screening, Conceptual, pre-project) for Deep Offshore, Conventional Offshore, Onshore, Gas & H2, LNG, Power and CO2 and all branches.
Follow-up and assist project teams during FEED / Basic engineering, call for tender and project execution.
Develop R&D projects and contribute to maintaining the Standard documents.
Support affiliates and local business units on all pipeline matters related to materials and corrosion (internal corrosion, corrosion threats and mechanisms, metallurgy, painting/coating, cathodic protection).
Promote and support technical choices made on materials and corrosion.
The position allows involvement in both our traditional businesses and to participate in the Company energy transition.
Activities:
In the area of Materials, and Corrosion, the candidate will oversee:
Issuing the technical specifications for the equipment within his/her scope of work.
Perform first corrosion documents review for TEC/COR Project Rep. to identify & list any technical gap to applicable project documents (TTE GS, PPS):
Material selection & corrosion control philosophy report (MSR)
Material Selection Diagram (MSD) & concordance with MSR
Painting & Coating documents : procedure, specification & ITP
CP Design and Calculation Note
Review of connected discipline documentation (PFD, piping list, etc.)
Following up on the design, fabrication, release, coating document, installation and commissioning of said equipment.
Contributing to the development, writing, revision and management of the internal standard documents under his/her specialty.
Having knowledge on Corrosion monitoring data (coupons and probes), CI availability, treatment monitoring, Process stream monitoring data (Fe counts, microbial analysis..), Inspection results (riser coating VT, ILI, CP readings, etc.) preferred

Hardware / Domain Knowledge
1. Knowledge of Onshore / Offshore / LNG environment.
2. Familiarized with Codes and Standards like NACE, API & ASME codes.

1. Good Communication skills - Makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens effectively; clarifies information as needed.
2. Ability to handle discussions / communications independently
