Materials Engineer @ Quest Global

Job Description

• Interacting with global customers and understanding customers specific need in the area of materials engineering support
• Creating material specifications (both metallic and nonmetallic) as per business requirements.
• Maintaining material specifications library as per changes in material regulations and changes in associated global standards (ASTM/EN etc.)
• Developing Material Declarations for BOM (at product/details/assembly level) for material regulations such as REACH, IHM, and RoHS etc.
• Working in PLM tool to keep the customer database updated according to the revised material specifications
• Resolving regulation related queries to customer
• Reviewing and approving the supplier declaration with respect to legislation requirements

• B.E/B.Tech in Material Science or Metallurgy.
• 1 to 3 years of work experience on the following activities.
• Should have handled REACH/RoHS, IHM and Bill of Materials in Materials Management
• Excellent communication skills
