Roles and Responsibilities

• Gathering requirements and documenting them.
  

• Interacting with the client for clarification on requirements and documenting the same.
  

• Preparing test cases for the client requirements.
  

• Test case execution.
  

• Reporting issues in the defect management tool and following them up with the development team till their closure
  

• Ensuring the quality is met while delivering and raising concerns if not.
  

• Automating the smoke testing scope if possible.
  

• Adapting to changes in the project quickly to start working in a new direction.
  
  

Technical Skills

• 2-4 years of experience in Manual Testing.
  

• Experience in Testing Web Applications and or Mobile applications.
  

• Experience in performing API testing and verifying API contracts.
  

• Software Testing skills required are Functional Testing, Test case Writing, Test Execution, Defect Reporting, API Testing(Postman), Database Testing(SQL), Integration Testing, UAT.
  

• Basic Experience of working on any Automation framework using Java, Python or any other programming language.
  

• Tools: Any defect management tool (Preferably Jira), Any test management tool, Postman, Selenium/Playwright/Cypress.
  

• Should have strong Communication skills and should have experience in client interactions.
  

• A good and learning attitude.
