Job Description
Role and Responsibility:
Time Study & MTM Analysis:
- Conduct detailed time studies using MTM-UAS (Method Time Measurement) tools.
- Analyze and standardize work content, identify value-added and non-value-added activities.
- Maintain and update standard time data in central repositories.
- Support the development of accurate labor models based on time study results.
Lean Manufacturing Implementation:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Lean principles (5S, Kaizen, VSM etc.).
- Identify and eliminate waste across processes (TIMWOOD framework).
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to implement lean improvements on shop floors.
- Support plant teams in embedding lean culture through structured tools and training.
Line Balancing & Process Optimization:
- Perform line balancing studies to improve takt time and optimize resource allocation.
- Design and validate efficient workflows and workstations layouts using IE tools.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Production Planning teams to ensure smooth operations and process standardization.
Project Support & Documentation:
- Support new product introductions (NPI), Finance, Manufacturing team by analyzing process impact and preparing standard work documentation.
- Contribute to capacity planning and productivity improvement projects.
- Prepare and present analysis reports and improvement proposals to stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 36 years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial engineering environment.
- Hands-on expertise in MTM (MTM certification preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques.
- Proficiency in line balancing, work measurement, and layout planning.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and process mapping tools.
- Exposure to digital time study tools, simulation software, or ERP/MES systems is a plus.
