Job Description
- The Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that functions as an internal service provider for the Hydro group, aiming to deliver IT, financial, and HR business services to all business areas within the company. As a GL Team Lead, your primary role involves overseeing the GL team and ensuring the smooth functioning of various activities. Responsibilities include approving Blackline reconciliations, managing month-end closing activities, monitoring workflow to meet SLAs, conducting quality checks on deliverables, addressing client queries, developing processes for team improvement, participating in pilot projects, training junior staff, creating task backups, tracking metrics, and resolving team issues. The ideal candidate should possess over 6 years of work experience in finance or a relevant degree, industry experience in BPO, and educational qualifications such as B.Com/M.Com/M.B.A. Additionally, knowledge of accounting, taxation, integrated financial software, and fluency in English are essential. A Chartered Accountant certification is advantageous.
