Job Description

You are an experienced Design Engineer looking to lead a team of engineers in conceptualizing and designing systems for various industries such as automotive, foundry, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, heavy engineering, locomotives, construction equipment, and oil and gas. As the Lead New Product Design, you will be involved in co-crafting innovative automation systems and solutions within the engineering team. Your responsibilities will include evaluating designs, reviewing manufacturing drawings, identifying solutions to enhance production efficiency, validating designs using DFMEA tools, creating pneumatic and hydraulic circuits, estimating costs within budget, collaborating with suppliers for manufacturing, guiding assembly teams, implementing design standards, and researching new product ideas. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 13-16 years of experience in designing mechanical systems. You must have a sound knowledge of GD&T and be proficient in using design tools such as CREO, AutoCAD, MATLAB, and ANSYS. Exposure to manufacturing simulation software like Solidcam, Mastercam, and NX is also required. Strong communication, presentation, teamwork, and leadership skills are essential for this position. You should be able to prioritize work effectively, develop and execute product design and development plans, and ensure compliance with industry safety standards. Your ability to find creative design solutions, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with various teams and customers will be crucial in achieving project success and customer satisfaction.,
