Job Title: ETL Snowflake Developer
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled ETL Snowflake Developer to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and integration workflows using Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse. The role involves working closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performance data solutions that support business intelligence and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, and related tools.
- Work with Snowflake cloud platform for data warehousing and performance optimization.
- Perform data integration from multiple sources (structured and semi-structured) into Snowflake.
- Implement data transformations, data quality checks, and performance tuning.
- Develop and manage stored procedures, functions, and scripts in Snowflake.
- Collaborate with data architects and business teams to define data models and schemas.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and governance within Snowflake.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL workflows to ensure reliability and accuracy.
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) for Snowflake integrations (S3, Blob Storage, GCS, etc.).
- Support business reporting and analytics teams by providing clean, reliable datasets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience in Snowflake development (schemas, stages, pipes, streams, tasks).
- Expertise in ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, Matillion, dbt, or similar).
- Proficiency in SQL programming and performance tuning.
- Good knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT methodologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) for data integration.
- Knowledge of Python or Java for automation and scripting (preferred).
- Experience with data migration and working on large datasets.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).
- Experience with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Control-M, etc.).
- Exposure to data governance, catalog, and security frameworks.
Education:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
