We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Technical Consultant with a strong technical foundation and extensive hands-on experience across Oracle EBS modules including Financials, SCM, Procurement, HRMS, and Projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in technical development, customization, integration, and performance tuning, and will be responsible for providing end-to-end technical support, enhancements, and solutioning for Oracle EBS R12 and above.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the design, development, testing, and deployment of Oracle EBS technical components (RICEFW Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, Workflows).
- Provide expert-level technical support for Oracle EBS modules: Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM), SCM (PO, INV, OM), HRMS, and Projects.
- Develop and troubleshoot Oracle Forms, Reports (BI Publisher/XML), PL/SQL packages, and custom workflows.
- Integrate Oracle EBS with third-party applications and Oracle Cloud using REST/SOAP web services and middleware platforms.
- Participate in business requirement analysis and translate them into technical specifications and design documents.
- Perform performance tuning of SQL queries and PL/SQL code for large-volume systems.
- Provide impact analysis, estimation, and solution design for change requests and enhancements.
- Manage patching activities, upgrades, and cloning processes in coordination with the DBA team.
- Document technical solutions and maintain code versioning using best practices and tools (e.g., Git, SVN).
- Support UAT, go-live, and post-production stabilization activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of hands-on technical experience with Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Strong development experience in Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms & Reports, XML/BI Publisher, Workflow Builder, and OAF.
- Proficiency in interfaces, conversions, extensions, and customizations.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Applications architecture, database structure, and APIs.
- Experience with EBS integration to other platforms (Cloud, 3rd party) via APIs and middleware.
- Expertise in data migration and conversion strategies.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills.
- Good understanding of functional flows in Oracle Financials, SCM, HRMS, and Projects.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
